On April 26 at the Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong, DEF Promotions in cooperation with J&J Promotions will stage an unprecedented UBO Triple-Header featuring some of the biggest stars in Chinese boxing.

The show is labeled Thursday Night Fights II, and is the sequel to the first TNF-card which took place this past September at the same venue.

At Heavyweight Honk Kong-based Samoan Lawrence Tauasa (32-9-1, 20 KOs) will fight an opponent to be determined for the vacant UBO International title.

A former multiple titlist at Cruiserweight, Tauasa is aiming to win his first Heavyweight championship after scoring an impressive stoppage over undefeated Korean Kyung-Hak Lee on TNF I.

Lefoumbou Ngoma (8-2-1, 6 KOs), originally from Republic of the Congo but now fighting out of Hong Kong, is scheduled to take on former UBO World title-challenger Plaisakda Singwancha (41-20, 31 KOs) from Thailand for the vacant UBO Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight crown.

And finally, Hong Kong’s own former amateur stand-out and current undefeated pro, Rex Tso will clash with former WBC, WBO and IBF title-challenger Pongpan Patanakan Gym (11-7-1, 10 KOs) for the vacant UBO Asia Pacific Super Flyweight title.

An amazing talent with considerable power in his punches, Tso is currently only 3-0 in the paid ranks, but has three fights scheduled before taking on Patanakan Gym, the first this Saturday (1.28) in the Philippines.

It is shaping up to be a big night of boxing on April 26, and it will without a doubt be the most significant professional boxing promotion ever staged in Hong Kong. Also on the card will be the professional debut of long time Hong Kong Amateur champion Douglas Lam.
