Former WBC
world champion turned promoter Chatchai
Sasakul presented a
Universal
Boxing Organization™
(UBO)
double-header on Sunday, October 26, at the
Thai Payak Boxing Gym in Thanyaburi, Patum
Thani, Thailand.

Moving down
from Featherweight, where he held the UBO
Inter-Continental title, Mikael Arutyunyan
secured the vacant UBO world Super Bantamweight
title in dominant fashion.
Coming in with
a streak of nine straight stoppage victories,
Arutyunyan wasted little time getting rid of
former Asian Boxing Federation champion
Chonlathee Srirat, a late replacement opponent.
Arutyunyan,
also a former
Asian Boxing Federation and WBC
Asian titlist,
was just too
strong as he dropped and over-powered Srirat
already in the first round.

The new UBO
world Super Bantamweight champion improved his
professional record to 19-2 (16). Srirat, who
holds a win over current WBF world champion
Toshihiko Era from Japan, drops to 10-4-1 (7).

24-year-old
Chinese prospect Shoucheng Jiang had to work
harder to lift the vacant UBO International
Super Bantamweight title.
Jiang, who has
boxed exclusively in Thailand since turning pro
in September of 2024, was forced to use all his
strengths to break down and stop Thailand´s
tough
and powerful
Phirawat
Panthong in round five.
It was a
disciplined and well-executed performance from
Jiang,
who was coming
down two weight classes since his last outing,
last April, where he picked up the Asian Boxing
Federation title at Super Featherweight.

Now
5-1 (5) Jiang is gaining valuable experience,
and is one to watch out for as a possible
successor to the new UBO world Super
Bantamweight champion, Arutyunyan.
Having won his
two previous fights, Panthong falls to 4-3 (4).
