Manish Raghav had very little trouble winning the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Middleweight title on Saturday, August 15, at the Looksaikongdin Gym in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 24-year-old from India defeated experienced but out-classed Tanawat Phonakku, putting on a dominant performance to win his first title.

It was all Raghav from start to finish, and when he sent Phonakku down with a combination in round four, the last punch being a shot to the body, it was the beginning of the end.

Phonakku beat the referees count and survived the round, but the ringside doctor advised that he could not come out for round five, due to a severe cut above his left eye, making Raghav the winner by Technical Knockout.

The new UBO International Middleweight champion improved his record to 9-5-1 (6). Phonakku drops to 32-17-1 (20).

The fight was promoted by Manfah Boxing Promotion in association with Abhishek Verma.
